Focus On What You Can Control
Do you focus more on things that you can control versus things that you can’t? We always have control over the effort that we put into something. However, when it comes to the outcome, we have to let go and see what happens.
This is a huge challenge for a lot of people. I get it. We want things to go our way. However, the more that we spend time ruminating on the things that we cannot control, the less time we spend on doing things that actually serve our highest self.
Focus on Solutions, Not Problems
The best way to handle any challenge that you face is to immediately go into solution mode. You will drive yourself crazy if you continue to focus on what is wrong.
As Tony Robbins says, “Identify your problems, but give power to your solutions.”
Proactive people handle challenges with grace and ease because they’ve mastered the art of problem-solving. They have learned that the fastest and most effective way to move forward in life is to find a solution and then take action.
What we think, we attract.
If we focus on problems, guess what we are going to get? A lot more problems. Choose to be a solution-focused type of thinker.
Think about helping yourself, being responsible for your outcomes. Take action for yourself!
Be Consistent
Indecision and proactivity do not go together. If you are not consistently practicing habits that move you towards the achievement of your goals, then you are going to get left behind.
Progress is the result of consistency. Be consistent in everything that you do, even if it only involves taking small steps. Over time, small things produce big results.

Mindset is everything.
The beautiful thing about the power of choice is that, at any given moment, you can decide to change your life. You can choose to be a proactive rather than a reactive person.
How would it feel to be in control of your life all of the time? It starts and ends with mastering your mind.
